Great gesture, but chances are most of them will move to the big city when they get their money.

Personally I'd think it would be better placed in a local development fund of some sort.

Having said that, if I left all my wealth to my local community they'd get about 30cents each.
So what do I know.

I think that during his lifetime he did spend a lot of money doing up the town, putting in roads and plumbing and that sort of thing.
