Club Night 2016 - the culmination of this year’s Australian Nation Homebrew Conference in Adelaide is now only 2 months away!
What exactly is this?
If you’ve never been to a club night before and have no idea what it is, the answer is simple. The AABC judging and ANHC result is a large number of brewers from around the country gathering in one place, so why not throw a party?! Clubs and individuals alike are encouraged to bring along a sample of their best/most interesting brews to share. Bars are built, costumes worn, and fun is guaranteed.
I’m kind of interested
Not enough? Many of the speakers from ANHC will also be in attendance at club night, so it’s a great opportunity to mingle with some legends of the craft beer industry - http://anhc.com.au/index.php/speakers
OK I’m in, where do I get tickets?
Tickets for club night are available here - http://anhc.com.au/index.php/ticketing - and these are available to anyone (not just conference attendees)
Got my tickets, now I want to win stuff
We’re trying something a little bit different for this years competition – beer blending! The beer synergy competition will challenge clubs to present two distinct yet complimentary beers that when poured into the same glass… form a third equally delicious beer! Three great beers from two, what could be better than that? Need some ideas to get the juices flowing? Try these tips from the pros - http://byo.com/body/item/2374-beer-blending-tips-from-the-pros
I better bring some beer then!
If you’re going to bring a keg to club night, you must let us know! We’ll give you space, ice and co2, but only if you’ve confirmed with us first. Flag you interest now, and we’ll confirm exact details with you towards the end of September – email [email protected]
So far we’ve heard from these clubs:
· Brisbane Amateur Beer Brewers
· Canberra Brewers
· Geelong Craft Brewers
· Illawarra Brewers Union
· Melbourne Brewers
· South Australian Brew Club
· West Coast Brewers
· Westgate Brewers
there's still plenty of room for more though, so get in touch now!
