Cascade Chocolate Porter

I put this together today and followed the directions to a T. But my initial OG is very low for a porter or a Beer Enhancer kit, The OG was 1030 when the normal average is meant to be 1047-1050...

I will try for another reading tomorrow. Also the mixture seems a bit light in colour almost a see threw brown and not the dark brown you would expect from a porter.

Can someone please advise?
