Hi. Total novice. First attempt : extract Hefeweizen cellaring as we speak. I want to attempt the smurto' s golden ale from recipes found in threads here. How much dextrose do I mix into 20 odd litres in bottling bucket?

Depend on how fizzy you like it, and how may litres you're referring to by "odd". ;)

There are plenty of online calculators, here's one

Fermentation temp is the highest temp the beer got to during fermentation, Corn Sugar is dextrose.

I did one a while ago and used 90g for 23L, so if you wanted the same level of carbonation, try 75g if you have 20L of beer you are wanting to prime.

Mate..if your doing extract brewing get the spreadsheet "pinned" to the section.open it up and the recipe you speak of is there,it gives you all the data you will need.even carbonation for bottles/kegs
