This isn't quite the same, but a couple of years ago I steeped some galaxy (about 20 gms from memory) in hot water for a few minutes and used a sanitised syringe to put a couple of mls of the hop tea into a few stubbies. It worked really well to give a decent 'flameout' addition type flavour and aroma.

You could set up a few different hop teas when bottling and experiment like this.
