I've got my name down to brew for a big birthday party.
Mostly bikers. The large sour mash whisky kind.
Was going to do a lager but running out of time.

I want to do something malty, because it's outside at night in northern SA, but not a Stout or Porter.
I fed a few blokes some commercial German Pils last time and it was too bitter for them.

So I'm thinking a North German Altbeir or something similar.
I've just smacked a 1338 Euro Ale.
My other idea is a ferment Munich Dunkel but I've never used this yeast before.

Suggestions?

How about a Schwarzbier, but fermented with that yeast? Not too bitter to scare them off, but still malty enough and warming on a cool night.

Edit: I'm sipping on a brown ale now and that yeast might be good for that sort of beer too.

Do an english pale ale of sorts, but not too bitter. Chuck some melanoidin in there for ***** and giggles, not too much!
