Big Wineries Taking Multiple Rebates on Their EqualisationTax

Treasury has found "widespread and systematic rorting" by big wineries of the Wine Equalisation Tax. According to a story in Fairfax media today, they pose as multiple small wineries and collect multiple rebates:

You'd be a bit shocked at how many wine "distributors" own a whole bunch of small labels and "distribute" the same bulk wine under multiple labels. Need I say they claim multiple rebates?
