I'm over here in the states and I'm looking to make a bag for "Brewing in a Bag." Most of the Swiss Voile I can find out here is made with cotton, which is obviously not the material of choice. So, I'm looking around for Nylon mesh, and I need to know how fine a mesh I should be looking for. While I get that finer is generally better, there is nylon material all the way down to 1 micron (which is insanely expensive and obviously the wrong size), so I'd like actual mesh gap sizes if you know of them. Thanks!

Wow, that's impressively fine mesh. 0.5-1mm? Thanks for the pic.

and although nylon works OK - 100% polyester is the material that most BIAB brewers are using. Nylon is fine if its all you can get, But I would go with polyester.

The polyester voile is usually next to the curtains, in oz anyway.
