Ok, so as not to lay slander I will simply tell what happened to me:

About 6 months ago I made an online order, which I amended with a phone call and was told the online order had been cancelled. Everything turned up within a reasonable turnover time and my Visa card was charged accordingly.

Sounds good right? Well, it was until the next bit:

Early this week I arrive home to find an Express Post satchel waiting for me. What could this be? I thought to myself.

It was my initial online order with a note attached saying Sorry for the delay. Attached to what you ask? Attached to the brand new receipt dated this Monday!

Checked my bank account and sure enough they have charged me again.

So I call up and they tell me they forgot to cancel the order and that my card will be refunded the appropriate amount on Wednesday and that they will send me an Express Post satchel to mail the goods back to them in.

Againsounds good right? Wrong!

Called on Thursday and was told (name withheld) will definitely do it today and will call you when done. Sometime before 12:30 (WA time).

Called back around 4pm ACT time (2pm WA time) Thursday and she was still Not back from the bank, but will call you as soon as she gets in.

Called back around 5pm ACT time to be told that she just got back from the bank and it is doneshould be in the account in around 30 minutes.

Friday comes, still no money!

Call them up around 11:30 ACT time and say No money, need the money. Get told she did it with their EFTPOS system and that it should have gone into my account instantaneously (bearing in mind they told me Thursday that she did it at the bank). Reassurance is made to me that shell look into it and call me back in 30 minutes.

Call back at 3:30 ACT time, She didnt call me back!. Get told again that she would call me back.

Call back at 5:00 ACT time She didnt call you back? Oh, she has gone home nowI dont know what to do, Ill call her and get back to you.

Low and behold at around 5:30 ACT time the guy calls me back, only to reassure me that it has indeed gone into my accountwhich of course it has not. I even ring phone banking on speaker phone and let him hear through my mobile. He says I dont know what to do, it has gone through. No it hasnt, I just proved to him it hasnt!

I suggest that they may have that much money in the float and that they could do a deposit at the bankhe laughs at me. He explains he is the only one there, which is fine, but by now I am in no mood to be laughed at! Says again that hell figure out what he can do.

To this point I have not heard back and have had no money credited to my account.

I cannot advise you to do or do not deal with these people, but I can indeed tell my storywhich I hope you liked, because I sure as hell f*cking didnt!

good story mate. I would ring your bank and tell them they've deducted more money than they are entitled to and won't give it back. that will get them moving quick smart.

I think this mob have been around for awhile so hopefully the desk jockey gets it sorted out for you.Maybe she has sent the money into the wrong account.

Cheers

Yeah, I called my bank and the dude told me it would take a couple of days as he figured they had used the Visa debit network...he found it quite funny that they thought it would be 30 mins or instantbummer :(

Whether they have sent it or not is now the main issue, as they probably have, just have no idea about the hows and whats.

PLUS, Im a desk jockey myselfin accounts no doubt, and with no formal training. If I f*cked up like this Id get in a load of doo doobet your arse she wont though!
We do direct deposits using our corporate system, in the account the next day, regardless of the institutionnot that.

Still pissed (off :chug: )

Sorry to here you have had a bad experience Fingerlickin. I was in there on Thurs to grab some beer line & clamps. The fella there seemed pretty genuine so I would be surprised if it is not sorted.

More than likely be the 2 banks causing the delay.
Can take up to 5 working days for an "instant" transfer of money

Well, got no money and got no reply from Beertech (said they'd call me back if I remember correctly  ), so I've contacted WA ScamNet

"have you got the paperwork for it?"

"you need paperwork or I can't fill it"
It's new, stamped and in test, so whats the problem and what is this paperwork?
"I just can't fill any bottle"
