Hi All,

I bought beersmith and was just entering the better red than dead receipe in, and find it "confusing" as to what the grain is, so was wondering if anyone one had data that was valid for aus or even better with suppliers grain price. And if there is any one who has entered all the receipes in that are in the DB that would be great :)

cheers
Matt

did you download the grain extensions from their site?, has Weyermann, BB etc

Download the grain extensions from their support page here. There's a bunch of Australian grains there that you can just directly import. I think Bairds are the hardest ones to find, but you can enter them in by hand.

thanks, I had downloaded the recipes I didn't see the grain.

cheers

Matt, wouldn't put too much credence in those recipes, from memory they are pretty ordinary, lots better ones available. For a newb I would recommend buying/reading "Brewing Classic Styles" by Jamil Zainasheff and John Palmer, 80 winning recipes.
