Beerbelly hopscreen as mash filter (batch sparge)?

Anybody used a beerbelly hopscreen as mash filter for a batch sparge ? I figure it will work as the holes are pretty small. My mashtun is broken down and need a quick fix to possibly brew tomorrow (public holiday in WA).

go for it, i think it would work fine, i have one on my kettl and have thought about using it on the mash tun before. cant be any worse than the braided hose ppl use.
