Recieved the mag today.
Looks good. Will be catching the bus tomorrow to read it :p

Interesting to see an ad for Redoak on page 17 :p
Also listening to the Brewing Network show from this week, they mention there are 7000 subscribers. That is pretty awesome, so I hope the magazine gets a following and stays around.

I signed up for BYO just b4 xmas too. They said my first issue will be shipped 2/1/07.. no sign as yet

has anyone recieved there jan/feb issue of BYO?

The jan -feb edition came through some time ago, about mid december I think, there won't be another for a while, thats how the flow of magazines from them usually goes.

Received mine today and have had a bit of a read through. Some interesting articles and looks like their will be a little HB dedicated section each month.

Lots of advertising though...almost half

Yeah, all the American magazines I get are like that, does it also finish articles at the back of the mag? ie: continued on page 42, then: Continued on page 45, and then after all that, sometimes even: Continued on page 48. Each page having maybe 1/10th of the page in text?

Why can't American mags be like UK/Australian mags, eg: start and finish an article before starting another?
Hell, some UK magazines are brilliant, first 10 pages ads, last 10 pages ads, everything in between is articles with not an ad in sight.

Having said all that, spewin' I missed out on a founding subscription.

prety sure I had a "stu moment" late one night, or probably early one morning.

Damn paypal!!

Must have had a stu moment after all, mine arrived late last week, long with my latest Zymurgy.

Looks better than the brit Beers of the World, and maybe better than the yankee All About Beer too.

Not the worst stu moment ever

Received two issues today. June and July.
Weird thing is that the June issue was in a plastic bag, and the July in the usual yellow envelope.
Did anyone else have the same thing, or was my original returned to sender for some reason and they had to send me another ?

Doc

Same deal for me Doc, both arrived today in different packaging.
