Don't know if my tastes have change too much to appreciate the new Barking Flamingo from Matilda Bay, but it was touted on the bottle as a saison with some raspberries. To my tastes the saison character is completely washed out and whilst the beer does finish quite dry it is predominately sweet, light in body and berry flavoured, nothing like any saison I've tried. A bit disapointing really considering the repackaged Alpha Ale is quite good



PS. Sorry just noticed other thread about this beer :blink:
