Never brewed a IPL before,or drank one, so something new for me.

Ballast Point seems to get some good reviews, and looks pretty straight forward and simple. Like me.

Any input welcome.

Never drank an IPL Dave?

Recipe looks good, but I'd be tempted to lower the bitterness a touch by moving the amarillo & centennial to 10min or so. That's just my preference though as I prefer a BU:GU a little closer to 0.8..

Nope. Can you believe it? Surprising, because on many occasions I thought to myself as I sat drinking a generic lager, gee this sure could use tipping out more hops and malt.

I tend to agree about moving the hops a little later. Not exactly like you're going to miss them..

I've got a starter of 2042 in cold storage. I'd planned to use it for a Dortmund but this sounds more interesting.
