Babbs March Meeting

Brisbane Amateur Beer Brewers (BABBs) monthly meeting will be held Thursday March 26, 2009 at Lynndon Park Bowls Club, Galsworthy Street, Holland Park, Qld. Arrive 7:30pm for an 8:00pm start.

Entry fee of $6.00 covers hall hire & snacks; BYO beer to share and compare.

Visitors are always welcome.

Mini Comp No. 2: American Ale.

At time of entry, beer must be nominated into BABB's beer classes:

* 4a (American Pale Ale)
* 4b (American Amber Ale)
* 4c (American Brown Ale)

The Eagle heights brewday beers with all the different yeasts. May is dark ales IIRC - old ales, brown ales etc.

Thanks BribieG! Should be interesting with the Eagle Heights stuff. MossyRocks brought a pre-taster to my beer day just past and it was good huh.

As usual we'll get 12 hours notice In fairness BABBs isn't affilliated with AHB forum so they aren't strictly obliged to post, I got an email with the newsletter the other day.
Easiest just to remember 4th thurs of every month including the ones that have 5 thurs in the month, and no meeting December.

I'm bringing a Solly Cerveza or two and an old ale (tryout for May and needs a bit of work doing for version 2)
