Hey Guy's i'm on the hunt for half a dozen of those Andale Inline Flow Restrictors.
Checked the site sponsor's with no luck, anyone know where else i could get these?

Cheers Rob.

Would Andale be a good place to start or are you after used cheapies?

Do you want the ones with the stripped thread on the adjuster, or the ones that puor froth no matter where you set them?

(OK I admit it, I dont like them and never had much luck with them)

But slightly more helpfully there have been a couple of bulk buys on these out of teh UK, search on user "Roach" for the original buy.

Hey Guys,

i actually don't have a problem pouring a beer myself, it's just everyone around me does and with the warmer weather coming
i figured it would be easier just to wack some flow restrictors on and wind then down a bit. i've got one on a tap at the moment
and so far it's working pretty well. i got it just to test them out, i guess i could run a few more kegs thru it before i last out on
several more or just put my easiest drinking beer on that tap.

hi rob beer tech balcatta have them thats where i brought one from
cheers paul

Hey Paul,

thanks for the heads up, thats where i've gotten the one i have from, but when i went back there all they had was a rusty one missing the adjusting nob and weren't too phased about getting anymore in.

Rob.

Just make your beer line a bit longer and youll slow down the pour.

Hey Rob
Half your problem is that they are not Andale, they are from Alumasc in the UK!!
And contrary to that gent down the road from me I find they do work well, just down wind the crap out of them and strip the square headed bit on the end where the knob fits. Maybe you could make GL an offer he can't refuse?

ah yes your right i did read alumasc but by the time i got from the kegerator to the computer.....

Have you tried Beertech ?
I got some from them a few years back.

Edit: Oops, just saw Doogiechap's reply.

Hey Guys,

yeah i've been to beertech over 5 times, the boss refused to get them in for me.

They do have a couple of other ones (different brand) that are very bulky but couldn't get any more

i needed 5 more.

Thanks for the help

Rob.

Goat has left his minikeg in my shed, and he has one on the tap. As long as you dont tell him where you got it from, I will sell it to you for $40.

Tee hee,
I must say my ear was a bit sore by the time I left the shop last week.
I'm guessing it was the boss I was talking to (or was talking to me :p )
He had a single grey inline unit from Switzerland I think but he was saying he was going to place an order for the alumsac (spelling ?) units in the near future as the Aussie Dollar gains strength. The Swiss units were reasonably compact with the nifty option of being inline or chassis mounted.
Good luck in tracking them down bloke !
Cheers
Doug
