Hi everyone,

I am looking at doing 150L AG batches in 200L food grade plastic fermenters. Can anyone suggest the best airlocks to buy and where? I am based in NSW Australia.

100% you need a blow off of some description. A couple of contributing brewers and I made the same mistake once in our 200L batch and had massive blow off issues despite a bit of head space. After about the third blow off we quickly replaced with a Macgyver'd assembly and no further probs.

Not sure what your vessel is but we had one of those food grade cubes that gave their own integrated skids if that's any help.
