Well after a hell of a week vehicularly speaking.Puncture and flat monday(late to bed) and a cracked radiator wednesday.sicky pulled 2day to replace witha new(aftermarket) one.$ 200 later.
I managed to find a little silver glow in the form of a piece or two of 30mm thick polystyrene(in the radiator box) that will make a perfect lid /cover for my mash tun.
covered in foil it will be perfect to fit on top of the mash in my 19 L stainless pot,that allows me to do 12 litre AG's and partials from time to time.
I'm only losin 1 to 1.5 C in a 75 min mash ,but any improvement and minimalising of heat loss is a bonus.
Any one else got any similar tight arse "GOLD" moments to share?
