Cheers mate, I'm a newbie to HB(well I dabbled over 30 years ago but things have changed for the better I think!) so just playing with the kits for now.

Kits and bits very welcome at Melbourne Brewers.

We have an annual comp called "Get your kit off" which is kit only.

I was kits and bits for years before I went to all grain.

Come along to club night it's an great way to try others beers and learn heaps.

And there's Merri Mashers. If you live in Lilydale Melbourne Brewers is probably your best bet, but you're welcome to come to one of our meetings. The next official meeting is at the Terminus Hotel in Clifton Hill in a month but we'll have an unofficial meet up this Saturday morning at Craft and Co in Collingwood if you want to check it out.

Thanks, I'm in Greensborough so both the Lilydale and Yarra Valley options are closest, second only to Merri Mashers. Clifton Hill's not too bad - although none of these are really close per say. Might have to start my own!!

Seems baysidebrewers.org.au is offline and there are no updates on the blog since April, despite there being a poster for Octoberfest. Is the group still running, do you know?

Yep it is . I think they've been having internet issues. Not a member myself.
