I'm sure it has been asked before - and if it has point me in the right direction.

What would cause the beer to come out of the keg all foam? I suppose that does not matter so much for this brew because this brew tastes like cider for some reason :( .

I have found from experience that if I overcarb my beer I tend to get bubbles forming in my supply line that runs into my tap. So if your getting this than you know what it is. which in turn results in a frothy beer.

This is the first time I have used a Keg (and my second batch of beer). While possible, I don't think it it infected, I did add sugar late in the fermentation because something confused me.

There are few bubbles in the line, it foams up a quite a lot.

Now ya tell me ! Was your brew a K&K Kytro ? That may explain the cidery taste. If it is just overcarbed then you need to burp the relief valve until you get the gas right. The extra gas will cause a lot of skewed flavour.
