Hi,

I did a search and I know there is a lot of debate about plastic and glass carboys for secondary fermentation. I managed to obtain a 5 gallon plastic water cooler container and thought of using that as a carboy. Has anyone done that before? How did it turn out?

Thanks

I've been using 12l plastic water jugs as conditioning carboys for half-batches for about a year.
No ill effects.
You've just got to siphon out obviously.
