Hey guys!
Up for sale here is my semi-ghetto, old school, trustworthy 3V set up. It has produced many tasty brews, some has even won a few comps in the last couple of years.
The whole set up is sitting on a Bunnings Rack It system. Sturdy and solid.
It's got a 50L SS keggle for HLT equipped with ball valve and analog thermometer. It also has a 1/2 inch barb at the top for incoming liquids. It has a Keg King 2200 Watt SS element that's held up well over the last 2 years.
The mash tun is a good ol 55L Willow esky equipped with a stainless steel braided hose to keep the grains out while lautering. It also has a 3 pice ball valve with a female quick disconnect attached.
Boil kettle is a Keg King 55L SS keggle with a bazooka screen on the inside and a standard ball valve out the front.
The kettle is fired by a Italian spiral burner. Gas bottle and regulator is included.
The set up has a Keg King magnetic drive pump. Does a great job when you want to move liquids from one place to another. The pump is also fitted with a female quick disconnect.
3 silicon hoses with male quick disconnects.
Copper immersion chiller
2 plastic 30L fermentors and some other bits and pieces.
It's a great little set up. Basic but does the job. Moving house and will not have enough space for this bad boy unfortunately.
With a few modifications and some extra bits you can turn it into a HERMS quite easily.
Would have spent about $1400 on this set up. I'm happy to part with it for $1000 but are open to offers.
It's also possible to come and have a look at the set up if you wish. It's located in Travancore, Melbourne.
Cheers!
Mattias
