Can anyone tell me the actual time taken for their brewday with the bm and is it the sort of thing you could walk away from to do other things during mash and or boil times? Looking at buying one.

Cheap Zinc coated washers will quickly cause corrosion around other metal parts on your brew gear due to the fact of disimilar metals, so hold off until you can get your hands on some stainless ones. Cheers !

You might find if you leave a backing nut on the thread when you cut it, then tidy the burrs up, then remove the nut. It should recut the thread for you and you'll have no worries to screw anything to it. Cheer!

If you google 'countrybrewer' they do a nice little s/s drip tray for about $80. One of them would look snazzy on your setup there Cheers

The fella at beerbelly reckons the spiral is the way to go but so many people seem to big raps for the nasa. I think it might be a case of the more info I get the more confused I'll end up
