    Tips needed- starting up again

    Hi there Guys, Now the weather is cooler again in QLD, I am giving the home brew another crack. I was brewing last year but as the weather began to get warmer the beer was tasting rubbishy so I gave it away for the summer, ( no fermenter temp control).     Ale FG too high

    Hi guys, I have been brewing different with 750g- 1kg blends from my home brew shop guy, he recommends a FG at 1010, ( after 7 days) in this weather in QLD. I have never reached that low.     Italian made keg.AEB. Disconnect issues

    I am having problems getting my beer line disconnect on and off one of my kegs. The gas connect is fine But the beer line is really hard to get on and off? Any ideas/ help most appreciated

    High FG

    Put down a morgan's wheat beer last Sunday, with 750g blend from my HB shop, FG is supposed to be 1010. After 7 days it is still 1020 Any idea's why that would be? He says it should be all done in 5- 6 days.

    How do you gas your kegs?

    I have been gassing my kegs for 24hrs at 40psi, then back off to around 10 psi pouring pressure. My last beer started pouring flat. Good head when first poured then a flat lifeless beer. Is 24 hrs long enough? Or could something else be wrong

    Gassy beer

    Hi guys, i have been brewing only since christmas and all has been going well. I gas my kegs at 40 psi for 24 hrs and that usually works a treat. My last pale ale is crazy gassy, ( all head) Does this happen from time to time or is something wrong. Its a pale ale. And it tastes ok, Thanks

    Fermentation tips required

    Adding more dextrose during fermentation

    Hi guys, i am very new to this, but enjoying the process. I started a brew yesterday, (coopers pale ale) with a 500g dextrose mix. Approx what alcohol % can i expect from this? Also, Can another 500g bag be put in to the brew, (successfully) during fermentation? Thanks, Trent
