    First Infection?

I think I have my first infection and it is this, I haven't tasted it, but when I kegged it, I noticed a very sour smell that I have not encountered before with my beer. :icon_vomit: I think it happened growing a starter from some safale s04 I farmed, the problem is I used it in two...

    Moving A Fridge

Sounds reasonable, but is this 'compressor outlet pipe' harder or easier to find than this mythical "g-spot" I keep hearing about? :D What does it look like (the pipe I mean!) and is it visible without pulling the fridge apart? Cheers Homer

    Bar Room Design

You wont regret a two way entry and with a small key latch you can stop the little brewers getting in quite easily - just check before you boot it open, cause if it is locked, it hurts your toes a fair bit! :icon_cheers: Cheers Homer

    Bar Room Design

I am probably too late, but I was gonna suggest rather than a lift up entry to have a door that opens both ways, that way when your carrying anything (beers, kegs, etc) you can just boot it open rather than put every thing down first. I am very glad I did it with mine!

Thanks for that, I think I will keep looking for one with removable shelves as I don't won't to risk breaking it 5 minutes after buying it. Cheers Homerkemp

    Fs: Fridge And Freezer

Hi, What are the dimensions of the Bar freezer and are the shelves removable with no coolant lines in them? Thinking of adding a bar freezer for my flooded font so I can run the font temp and chest freezer temps independently - but it has to fit under my already built bar! Cheers Homerkemp

    Flooded Font

I run a similar setup, except my Fonts are on the bar not on the freezer, I have an old 20 litre metal paint can that supplies the water to the font via a pond pump, which sits in the chest freezer. As you can see from the picture I get plenty of condensation and that is running 2 fonts, but I...

    Kegging Setups

Not a bad idea at all, but if desperate I have the 7th tap set up so I can put a keg in an insulated barrel chuck in some ice and it will be sweet all day, the barrel fits in the door near the chest freezer perfectly besides if I am buying more kegs then I have to get big ones, those little...

    Kegging Setups

sounds good, went I was planning my bar I never thought I would need more than 6 beers at once, so what I got fit my purposes fine, until I got my second flooded font from a mate! Once I move the water container out I might get seven in but it will be tight as - either way I think I can...

    Kegging Setups

Thanks guys - my only problem is I can only fit 5 kegs in the chest freezer ATM (6 when I get a bar freezer for the flooded font to hold my water tank), but I have 7 taps!!! :D and I might need a gas manifold one day too! :P

    Fisher & Paykel - H280x Chest Freezer

Thanks for the reply Is it a Westinghouse WCM3200WA by any chance? :D It seems the dimensions really change how many kegs can fit, for example the Westinghouse is 617mm by 997mm which means you will only get 2 rows of cornys in: 617mm divided by 220mm equals 2.8, but the Fisher & Paykel...

    Fisher & Paykel - H280x Chest Freezer

Hi All I am currently building a Bar and as I have 6 kegs currently (and plan for more) I am looking at using a chest freezer for Dispensing from my single 4 font flooded tap (which will be added to with another in the future!). Now my question is this: After a bit of research I have found a...
