    Mulberry Stout

    I picked the mulberries from the tree we have at our house. Boiled them up for 15mins, then strained the juice slightly pressing the excess out. I then froze the juice overnight to further kill any bugs. As for coulour the darkness of the stout pretty much takes up the mulberry colour. Cheers...

    Alcohol Calculations

    I have noticed that there is 2 ways to calculate alcohol percentage. eg. OG 1075 FG 1018 Diff 57 Which is more accurate? 57/7.36 = 7.745% or 57 x 0.135 = 7.695% Or am i just being picky? Cheers :beer:

    Yeah, I guess its all the rich flavours go together and the lighter ones do the same. I have a mulberry tree out the back which i picked the berries from lat week and made a litre of juice to add to the stout. Hope it all works well. Going out on a limb on this one. :beerbang:
