yea good idear on the new lids , but the PET ones i have are about three months old . sorry to blame the kit for the bad batch , i no im doing somthing wrong , yes two drops to a tallie . and not sure on the temp as i always put a towle inside a milk crate and put the bottles in it then wrap...

hi all , i made the coopers blonde a while back now . pretty simple , just the kit and BE2 . i no they sujest BE1 but there was none at the shop i went to . anyway i was sure this was going to be a great beer . but after 3 to four weeks in the bottle its flat , no head no bubbles ! it fermented...

it should be fine ! ive done this before but insted of be1 i used be2 ( always use the be2 , more body ! ) . but it will be fine , more acl % . have a good read around this forum , its TOPS . i spend more time reading then posting ! regards

i try not to even move my fermenter at all , just worried id stir up all the sedi on the bottom

it should be sweet then , ive read before that dont realy go off the airlock anyway , take og readings . some people dont even use the lid or the airlock , they just cover with cling wrap and a rubber band or O ring and do it that way , and take readings . dont no why though , but let me no...

yea just keep an eye on it , sounds like there might be an air leek, just make sure the lid is on tight and away it will go . cheers

na just let it sit . is the water level in the airlock ? or is one side up a bit . i put on a coopers blond the other week and did not bubble for a few days and when it started it was slow as ! but now shes speeding up and clearing out . just let it do its thing .

hi yea i have an old fridge with temp control . what is 15g of POR ? i dont realy want to ferment that cold because i dont want to realy chuck it in the fridge can i just use a normal yeast ?

i picked up a kit of morgan stockman draught for 5 bucks ! out of date . i was going to buy a new yeast and put it down , ( another nice cheapie ) question , what yeast to buy ? and what els can i put with it do you think ? just a BE2 ? thanks for the help bretto

mate this is how i got into brewining in the first place , so i can relate ! secound knee rec ( on same leg ) , out for another 3 months , than took my grandfathers footsteps and bought a kit ( 10 year ago now ) .. love it ay ! i no what its like to be going stircarzey at home , cant do nothin...

yea cheers for that . when i first started out , the temp used to go up and down all the time . ive got a fridge out the back should i stick it in that so the temp will stay pretty constant ?
