Aussie Brewer Disputes German Beer Law?

Just stumbled on this little clip on American craft brewers vs the big guys, seemed a bit apt here: http://vimeo.com/4298464

    Feral Hop Hog

Also tried it at the expo - good beer, big whack of hops just wish it had a bit more mouth fullness. Tasted a bit crude, all the hops hit you at the front and then there's not enough body to the beer to balance it. Still a good tasty alternative and wish they'd bottle it.

Bringing Beer Back To Australia From Belgium

    New Gage Roads Pilsner

It's such a waste of good brewers and lots of backing dollars that they choose to make such boring mainstream lagers. I hope the next beer they add to their portfolio has a bit more wow factor. Or just a bit more taste would be nice.

    Worst Comerical Beer You Had

Really? I liked it better a few years ago when it was more hoppy. I feel they've really "dumbed it down" lately and find it much less hoppy than it used to be. But then I love beers from North America that are uber hoppy. Found them really unbalanced at first but within a couple of days of...

    Worst Comerical Beer You Had

agree with mandrakar - a stella beer in Egypt was the worst ever. I believe they were in clear bottles and had lots of floaties. Vile vile taste. The markets sold t-shirts with the logo and "that which doesn't kill us makes us stronger". Second worst was a Korean beer, OB. Served at the...

    Colonial Brewing Co. Margaret River

That's not Steve behind the bar, that is the owner Ross Smith. Steve went back to New Zealand and there's been a new brewer since June. New brewer is Dean McLeod who has worked at Malt Shovel Brewery, James Squire Brewhouse in Sydney, Lord Nelson Hotel and Sharer's Brewery in Picton, NSW (from...
