@CM2 - If Bugglz doesn't want them and you're looking to offload your couplers shoot us a PM. There's a couple used ones on ebay but the going rate seems to be around $120 and up for new ones and if buying second hand I'd rather see my cash go to a fellow AHB member.

Do you put a hose on the puratap for filling things? I found that helped make things a bit less tedious.

I'm southern suburbs and I've used puratap water for all my brews, pretty happy so far.

Plum wine sounds like a great idea, certainly reduce the wastage from my rellies property. @DrSmurto I'm very jealous, when we moved house we left a great tree behind, I went back to grab some figs a few months later and the place had been flattened for units. :(

A beer I love to age is Coopers Vintage Ale, going to get a carton or two more when finances permit.

In aquaculture food grade fibreglass resins are available so I don't see why not. I personally would stick with plastic though.

Computer numerical controlled machine. Basically you "draw" what you want to make on the computer and then input the data into a machine and it will make whatever it is you designed.

I worried too the first time I did it, the hops will drop out of suspension soon enough. At least I ended up with a clear beer in the end.

Yup, I did a 14 day ferment with heaps of fresh ginger, my fermenter was smelling VERY STRONGLY... Wash with your preferred product, air dry, sanitize with bleach/vinegar/water solution and it's good as new.

Hey guys, I'm culturing up some coopers yeast according to the PDF available here somewhere. I've just struck something a bit different to the directions. My yeast has a big krausen and is massively active after 12 hours. I'm hoping it isn't an infection but i can sort this out when i'm ready to...

Completely agree Robbo but even if it's in the 30's and 40's outside I haven't had an issue if the bottles carb up in the mid 20's inside.

I've given up and bought more fermenters. I'm just going to wait for gaps between heat waves (like the one coming up in a few days) and cram in as many brews as I can. Just gotta convince the girlfriend I'm actually saving money by filling all the cupboards with beer...
