That is mostly a hang up from the site software - You can't remove the "Awards Ceremony" section from the software/Website that we used for the QABC (same software as the AABC).......only change the date.
All,
The QABC Score Sheets are now available on the QABC Competition Website http://qldbeercomp.org/qabc
Log into your account and navigate to "My Account" on the top right hand side of the page. Your list of entries are at the bottom of the page, the score sheets are in the "actions" column...
Hi, Thanks for bringing this up, oversight on my part. I've ordered/loaded an SSL certificate for the site. The payment part of the process starts a different (and secured) session with PayPal externally.
Please use this updated link (same site - secured by SSL)...
Participant and bottle registrations are now live @ https://www.qldbeercomp.org/qabc/
Any website or registration issues can be emailed to me @ [email protected]
Cheers,
Colin.
2nd Round of review with the QABC committee just done, likely live in the next day or so. Also introducing an online payment system via PayPal which should make the whole process a lot simpler for both organisers and participants. Now I just need to brew something!
Thanks to Matt for organizing another great Grafton Homebrew Competition, enjoyed your hospitality and helping out with the judging again this year.
Good Luck to everybody that entered!
We finished judging around 3pm at the Charming Squire in Southbank, some great beers in my flight. Not sure where/when the results are being posted though.
Well done to all the winners and those that placed in the QABC. The quality of the entries keeps improving year-on-year....thanks to Kris and all those involved in organising such a massive event......Go QLD in the AABC!
Special thanks to XXXX and Lion (Craft) for the awesome venue and support...
Hi,
Put me down for 1 each of the storage/cleaning and Ph buffers. Should come out to $176. I guess the BABBS guys are picking these up at the next club night (provided they are delivered on time)? I'll pay tonight when I get home.
Cheers.
Hi,
I'm still in but changing mine to the HI 98128, with the 4/7/Storage solution. Happy to split this with the BABBS guys if there's any interest.
List updated...........Cheers.
Brisbane:
1.TheCarbinator + friend - HI 99151 x 2 and one of each solution CONFIRMED
2. BABBS members - HI...
Hi,
I sat in on the judging yesterday. Pretty good turnout and I was impressed with the overall quality of entries (at least the porters and stouts). I believe the results will be posted during the Ipswich Show next weekend.
Thanks to Tony and Dean for organising a great comp and judging session.
I'd take it off the gas completely, release the pressure as much as possible, wait and repeat until it's pouring without foam. Hop matter left over in the keg will create more nucleation points, making it worse if it's over carbed.
IMHO, you only need to sanitize.I keg, but for the few I bottle for comps I just wash and clean thoroughly then use StarSan in a squirt bottle to sanitize before filling with a counter pressure bottle filler. I fill mine wet.
Gas sounds good, but I don't think it's practical, unless you have...
I'm up for a HI99151 if we can get it at around $300inc, my cheap arse pH meter died on the weekend just in time to miss 80L brewed over Sat/Sun.
+1 for BABBS Brisbane.
