Finally got mine yesterday. Was packed extremely well. They took the glasses out of the packs and wrapped them separately in bubble wrap then in their own box with styrofoam popcorn then inside the bigger box that also had styrofoam popcorn.

That was my first thought, but then people do rack their beer and condition in a secondary.

I like those American ones you're talking about too. The glass seems thicker or something, and from memory they're slightly bigger than a schooner. Beer just looks good in them. I would be keep to buy some.

You can get these reducer things that allow you to screw in a John Guest fitting on the outlet that allows you to connect 8mm tubing.

If you have beer line coming from the filter you can connect that straight to a liquid disconnect and hook that up to the keg. The beer will come out of the filter, down the beer line, then down the kegs dip tube. That's the way I fill my kegs and I highly recommend it.

You'd have to change the batch size to 23L mate.

If they have an option for hopped malt extract use that. If they only have liquid malt extract, add 1.7kg of that I guess? Then work out the IBU's manually.

Cheers mate, reason I ask is obviously sometimes cubes have ridges on the bottom for stacking. I assume this one has a flat bottom with smooth corners so should be as easy to clean as a round fermenter. I currently use the round ones but would love the extra headroom of a 30L fermenter, but I...

Any chance there's 12V lights in the fridge? If so and you could reverse the logic so that fans are on when the door is closed, that'd be perfect.
