    Kegging Setups

Will be finishing the inside over next few days, will post pics then. I need to find a way to support 4 kegs and a 6kg CO2 bottle. The shanks are 4 inch from farmhouse brewing. By the time I add the locknut and the beer line fitting, there is no room for the black outers. Ahh well. Doesn't...

Wort Started Fermenting In Cube ?

WTF mate I tried everything I could to ressurrect my infected cubes, pitched a VERY healthy yeast, chilled for weeks, used finings, aged for a few months sampling every few weeks. Guess what? still stuffed. Just put in my opinion based on my experience.

Wort Started Fermenting In Cube ?

I tried to save a few brews that did the same in the cube. My advice, ditch it, and toss the cube. Sorry mate, but it won't ever be drinkable, even if you let it age. My problem I beleive was a dirty tap on the kettle, and not quite adequete sanitation. Have since bought a plate chiller, and...

    Ordering From The States Question.

Cost Of Making An Extract Brew ?

I only ever did a few partials or extract brews before I moved on. They would have cost me $40-$50 each easy. Bulk buys for grain and hops, and re-using yeastcake have dramatically reduced this. now $20 tops for 20 ltrs. Even ordering from a sponsor eg should reduce it. Extract is quicker...

    S-04 And Us-05

How long has it been in the bottle? I'd say it just needs more time as it's cold, even in QLD I hear. S-04 is O.K. I prefer US-05 though when using dry. Cheers
