First off... Welcome to the forum! I use the sanitizing solution from TCB... Spray the bottles before I start to bulk prime and leave them on the bottle tree for as long as possible. It says somewhere that they should be dry but I could almost guarantee that there would still be a bit left in...

Barra, in the wetpacks you get the wort, grain, yeast, hops and any other additives i.e. the summer wheat one comes with orange peel coriander. Comes with everything to do a batch... Not too bad either considering its still under $30

Small Swap - 6 X Longnecks In Syd - Anyone Keen?

Thanks Pete... Don't know if it deserves that much of a wrap (it's only the first one I've done!) And personally I believe it's a BIT too "gingery". Finished off the last of the beers now, what can I say? They were all great beers! Pete, I want that recipe for "Ho in the Garden". It'd be a...

    The Simplest And Best Cleaner

Hi Kizzy, First off, welcome to the forum! To clean all my stuff I use home brand unscented bleach (really well rinsed!) and sanitising I personally found that you can't go past pink stain remover (also really well rinsed). For my bottles, I have a solution from my LHBS that you dilute in water...

    Fermenter Confessional

For badly stained things I generally throw in an unscented bleach solution... Let it sit for a day or two... Followed by PSR and a good rinse... Comes up better than new! Cheers, Andrew

I have a Kozel glass which holds just over 500ml... Perfect for those longnecks! Lets you get your nose in to be able to smell the beer as well! When I'm trying a beer for the first time, this is the glass I always go for! Cheers, Andrew

Small Swap - 6 X Longnecks In Syd - Anyone Keen?

It was just a basic amber ale, with a morgans caramalt tin. Made up to 20L, brewed at approximately 18 degrees and dextrose (180g) was used for priming. I'm not going to toss it yet, I still have that little bit of hope for it! Cheers, Andrew
