    Bedroom Brewer

as you can see in the list, 1% is already given by a crowded room. Dont underestimate the volume of CO2 produced by a fermenting wort. A rule of thumb says: one litre of fermenting wort can produce up to 50l of CO2! Thats a lot. Anyway, its not fun waking up with an awful headache. Cheers

Toxicity Prolonged exposure to moderate concentrations can cause acidosis and adverse effects on calcium phosphorus metabolism resulting in increased calcium deposits in soft tissue. Carbon dioxide is toxic to the heart and causes diminished contractile force.[36] Toxicity and its effects...

    Bedroom Brewer

I wouldnt want to sleep next to a bubbling fermenter unless all windows are wide open and a fan is running. Depends on your batch size, the amount of CO2 is produced, should not be underestimated. Could be, that in the morning when you wake up, youll realize that youre dead ;) Cheers...

    Everyday Beer

Tony, that looks like a crystal weizen, yummie. In Bavaria often the crystal weizen is served with a slice of lemon on the rim of the glass, very refreshing. Cheers :icon_cheers:

    Ag Or Keg?

for me it is a simple question, wether to drink good beer from bottle, or not so good beer from keg. Of course, drinking good beer from keg would be optimal, although the WAF (= wife acceptance factor) has to be considered. Cheers :icon_cheers:

Do Germans Have Any Idea About Beers?

In short words: it is a dry and crisp, little hoppy, but not malty Pilsener. There is a procedure you should follow: start in the afternoon with XXXXGold, that is light on alcohol and a real thirst quencher. Later on, when your body gets adapted to that kind of beer, change to XXXXbitter. The...

    Something Inside Braided Hose Necessary?

Hello chadjaja, you dont need anything inside the braided hose. Just remove the inside rubber hose and clamp it to the outlet. The steel is strong enough to withstand the weight of the grain, no worries. Here a pic of mine, Im using that for many years: Cheers :icon_cheers:

Using Rice In A Summer Pale Ale.
