What's the pressure rating of the pump? Can the nozzle be replaced with a CIP ball? Will the pump provide enough pressure? Just wondering if it works effectively enough to remove the krausen ring with no direct spray at this location. Thanks

Thanks, sounds simple. The benefit of using a PET bottle is you can put Biofine in that, purge it with CO2, counter-pressure fill it up halfway from the kegmenter, shake it to mix the biofine with the beer, and then apply a greater pressure to the bottle to transfer it PET to Kegmenter. The...

    Chilling the wort.

I'm planning to set up something similar but use a submersible pump to circulate ice water through the CFC, after the tap water has gotten it down as far as possible. I recirculate back into the kettle using a pump though. It's less cleaning/removes the second coil. And I always recirculate...

I weighed a 19L ball lock keg as I bled the CO2 from it at about 4C/30psi and it wasted 70g. I was trying to back calculate my CO2 usage to see if it was reasonable. In our house we go through a 20L keg of sparkling water every two days, so this waste is quite significant.

Nup, never had them blocked and I've freeballed 300g of dry hops in the 58L kegmenter. I do cold crash the hops out of suspension prior to anything else however.

Yes, need a couple of these, these are horrendously expensive elsewhere. Almost better off buying another second hand keg. All of the seal kits, lid seals, dip tube seals etc are also very expensive.

This bulkhead looks like it would work well with your reducing bush to fit into a T-piece housing a thermowell in a CFC arrangement. I want to swap out my dial thermometer for a digital one (linked to my CraftBeerPi so I can check the progress of chilling from the couch) Ideally then I'll buy a...

Immersion chiller 14 meter Stainless Steel

You could always pass the wort through the chiller in a container full of ice to really get the temp down. A lot of blokes do this.
