On topic with the Aldi specials: There is home brew there, and currently it is printing a Kegerator Mk3 fan housing.

Plus its probably worth noting that if you only want to do one or two items, such as the kegerator fan mod then there are 3d printing services that you can use, or you can probably head to your local hackerspace with a sixpack of your finest brew and some cash for materials.
