    1. pitch some actively fermenting larger yeast or
    2. Pitch some saison yeast that's actively fermenting and keep it below 20c

Good luck. I hope you are kegging it otherwise it may be a little under carbonated.

Even kegging doesn't fix it. After you've denied it as much as possible saying "yeah! I think its OK like this" but no. Sorry, I've had a few not brew out properly and I've tried the fix it scenario's. Good luck anyways!

Down from 1143, just brewed up a quick ESB to pitch a big healthy second serve of Notty from into it.
Impulse bought a kegerator for Christmas, hope the WAF is high with the stainless front etc

My wife is drinking all my beer quicker than I can brew it :( On the bright side she's probably approve me opening a brewery.
Ergh, think i have lost a keg somewhere. No idea where it could be though.

Nah, not full. Will be tonight though, needed it to finish off the kegging for a wedding on Saturday.

All gone, should sort out another keg for them soon.
Remind me never again to put loose raspberries into a fermenter... arrrgh.

Haha, there is a Berliner Weisse that is going to get a dosage of raspberries. Going to make up a Swiss Voile bag for them though. Gotta do somethign with all that excess Voile

Yup stockings, they make me feel like a real girl... wait, what are we talking about again?

Oh yeah, don't put loose raspberries in your FV.
Two batches of Candi Sugar/Syrup prepared, and one partial wort cooling waiting for lacto p souring. Semi productive evening.
Hm, really should pay attention to the alternative ABV calculations for high gravity beers. RIS is already at 13.95% and i just gave it a top up with 250g Dex.
Its a RIS day today... for whatever you want to brew. Its a lovely day to brew a RIS on, thats true!
Must remember I have a TIG more often. 3hrs of annoyance on Saturday solved with 15mins of prep and TIG time.

Oh man, a TIG is on my wishlist. Do you find it easier or harder than stick?
    takai
    takai
Harder than MIG, usually easier than arc/stick. But i hate stick welding with a passion. I will use the MIG over the stick any day (my TIG came with an arc attachment too)

Cheers for that. Spent this weekend wrangling the stick on some 2mm SHS... I hate stick too... so many fumes and so difficult to get working on thin stuff!
This afternoon has been a good reminder as to how much I hate sealing taper threads. Getting close to refitting with swivel connectors
Three parcels of stainless bling in as many days... bling-a-riffic. Time to finish off the Faux-father.
Finally got my 50mL sample tubes, now decanting off some yeast for storage. Still to decide on glycerine or just chilled until near reuse.

Glycerine.. Storage time becomes a non issue

Yeah, more debating whether to do it with this batch. Its just standard US05 that im experimenting with to get my process down.

That's the spirit.. I did the same when learning to rinse.. Served me well when I got stuck into liquids
Got on the TIG today for the first time in 2 years to start welding up the keggle... need more practice

;) Its perfectly workable, just not the quality i used to have.
Mashed in for first brew after my run of crap and problems. All going relatively smoothly except for the scales breaking on the last grain amount... ohwell upgrade time.

My BIAB bag has done about 30+ batches. I'll be passing it on to one of my mates soon.

These ones i got from KK, have lasted 2-3 batches each.

Haven't had much personal experience with KK stuff, but mine came from Craftbrewer and it's pretty good.
Ah another f**kup. Krausen explosion from the fermenter. Reused the yeast cake from a previous batch and it was quite active. 1.053>1.012 overnight with spatters of krausen in a 3m radius
    takai
    takai
Entire cake, the previous beer was really slow fermenting, so i figured i woudl give it a good go at life given the higher gravity.
Well it had a bloody good go at life.

I also learned the hard way!
Blergh, burnt taste in the white IPA.... Evidently the foaming issue was probably linked to the element not getting hot enough. :(

    What element?
    takai
    takai
Nah, standard setup, just too much build up on the element, plus overly starchy from the wheat, plus split in the grain bag.
    Kind of the perfect storm.
