    Hi Ok there are probably 100 answers to this, and everyone has a different method. A hbs told someone to put in fridge straight out of fermenter and gas it. I personally like to leave it age at least a week,(if in a hurry) but I know it improves in a bottle but what is everyone’s preference...

    Yes they are pretty robust, would have to be other wise people wouldn’t get past there first brew, 😆 Imagine using US O5 at 27 lol

    inkbird probe on side of tank (insulated from outside air with wet suit material - so should be close to exact) , room is 18 degrees. I thought it was high, but it might have been extra sugar?

    Thanks yes says ok. I think I am going to leave and let naturally cool as it stops working. Its interesting it never dropped to 20 or so as it normally does, I have a little extra sugar in this so it might the reason, happy little vegemites. As the wort got a a little warmer it stuck there...

    Hi Kit yeast - Coopers. Had an issue with fermentation fridge (another story coming :)) … it got quite warm (fortunately found before wort had got hot) But is in a room which 18 degrees. So I thought it would put a blanket around it. It seems once it reach 24 degrees in wort it has not come...

    Hi There, Who has tried the Country Brewer Wals - Rapid Creek etc, Xtract, Wetpak etc Are they their own range, never see them anywhere else - what is the verdict? They also have Ginger Beer and cider too? They have a few stores, so can't be bad. I did try and search but too many results...

    Thanks - well I am not sure about the fermentor if it was usable 35 L - ie head room excluded. My fermentor is 25 L but has space at top, so it could be 30 L .. I was going to ask that question.. Its a brewzilla 35L he is getting...

    Hi If you have a 35 L fermentor and use 2 kits. I am actually asking for a friend LOL He will have 2 kegs (well 4 in total) - so can adding 5 litres after adding to kegs to make up the liquid - I dont see a real issue but that water was not part of fermentation so would it dilute the taste...

    Put gas connect on crushed coke bottle... Slowly turned the yellow tap and bottle starts to fill but not completely uncrushed, turn more then is hard... I can hear gas going in... Regulate is working...but... Gauge never did a thing, surely it would ? Gauge must be stuffed..?? thanks

    urggh my luck buying something broken.. I vented most of the gas out of the keg... connected gas on turned on.. then turned yellow knob and can hear gas going into keg - gauge does not move.. did the same on empty bottle with carb cap, same - gauge 0 such a simple thing I can't see how it...

    Thanks - that is a bit better, but I have set up on corny keg... gauge is just not moving... even if pressure is high in keg or from 1st reg. , something should be moving ?? edit ...just put on coke bottle with carbonation cap, bottle squashed flat, turn on gas and then turn tap, bottle fills...

    Hi I have a keg land inline regulator cut line and added. Correct direction. The gauge does not seem to move. If I take Grey disconnect off and test there is gas coming out. I want to set or get to about 8 or 10 psi, for pouring - what ever correct PSI is. What am I doing wrong. It is 0-60...

    Reason to make your own :) I was saying to someone the other day the small increments were sustainable... like 2.50 to 2.75 to 3.00 but not 7.00 to 8.50 to 10.00 is different. Wont be long they will be $20.00 Interseting they are cheaper in Canberra :) less tax in ACT..?

    Thanks The only mini regs I have seen are for soda stream fitting, what make is your mini reg.. kegland have inlet pressure valves which might be better, but then you need different ones for different pressures, so mini reg is better. thanks
