Brisbane Bulk Buy - Any Interest?

    What Makes A Beer premium?

I read an interview with a CUB marketing manager many years ago who stated that it was simply "what we can charge $40+/carton for". Suppose $40 back then is more like $50 now.

    Help Me Find A Burner

I picked up a Beerbelly spiral burner about 6 months ago and haven't looked back. Comes with a nice stand and does the job well. I can get 45 litres to the boil on a 25 deg day in approx 30-40 mins. This is w/ low gas (ie. low noise) with the HP reg. Something to keep in mind is if you do...

False Mash Tun Floor.. Recommend This?

How did you end up going with the screen? Subsequent brew days for me have turned out alright (except the one where the esky handle broke and the falsie hose dislodged itself). Will be doing another brew this weekend with a 55L Willow Esky and some better fittings.. Dan

False Mash Tun Floor.. Recommend This?

Received the new screen last week and my first impressions were of how good the quality was. A simple design with exceptional workmanship. All the weld joins were very clean - not a rough edge on the whole piece. Got a chance to test it out over the weekend. The only major issue I found is...

    Will It Be Drinkable ?

Have heard that there's a difference in the type of honey intended for brewing. Perhaps this is the side effect of a type that's not suitable? Dan

    Bbq Burners

Since I'm new to AG brewing, I grabbed the wok burner that came with the outdoor bbq as the first choice of burner. Trying to get 45ltrs of water to the boil using the standard bbq regulator was impossible. 90mins on a warm day got it to 98deg and nothing more. Have recently ordered an...

False Mash Tun Floor.. Recommend This?

Hi.. Considering an order on the "The 'Falsie' Tun Bottom Screen" from BeerBelly (http://beerbelly.com.au/beerequip.html) for my 36ltr mash tun and possibly a 60ltr tun in future. Definately looks the part. Has anyone tested this out? Would you recommend it? Thanks, Dan
