just make sure you get the bank to put your username down as the reference, thats what i did and no problems from P+C.

something else you could try is get another brewer to come over and get them to do a batch! if all works out well for them, then the finger will be pointing at you and not your gear? just a thought.

im no expert on the subject but sounds like you have over carbed, take it off the gas, release pressure, give it a rock, leave it a while then release pressure again. might have to be done a few times over 24hrs then should be good to go with the pressure set on pouring pressure. next time if...

couldnt find the thread but read this i personally would wait and use the coopers yeast for a more authenic "in the style of" no need to wait til the weekend, it only takes alittle bit of time to get it up and running.

oh well its up and running now(fermenting), took less than 12 hours for the nottingham yeast to do its thing. i am planning on using gelatine for finning and polyclar as well, so look forward to tasting it out of the keg in the near future! still curious about the muddy looking wort, is this...

ok, i have finally got around to doing this recipe of BribieG's, question, after doing the mini mash the wort came out like muddy water, on all the all grain videos i have seen the wort has been clear and a lot darker, ok the color could be due to the grain i have used which was a Pilsner Pale...

for something a little different, heres my food fridge! i needed my fermenting fridge back so 40 litres of lager conditioning, beers food right!

or you can get yourself a working fridge and get a temp control unit like a fridgemate and have a dedicated fermenting fridge. thats the ideal! or you could simply put the fermenter in a tub of water with a wet towel wrapped around it and a fan blowing on it.

i contacted them and they wont post, only pick up from factory, they mentioned to try local outlets that might have damaged stock from transport and the like. dam, oh well got me the 20litre one for 80 bucks which will have to do for now.
