    From Czech Republic With Love

I emailed them yesterday about hop pellets, as in CZ they have some other varieties, see what they say... I went to this place too they have beautiful beers, especially that dark grizzly one that tastes like nowhere else. http://www.berounskymedved.com/produkty.html They actually make their...

    From Czech Republic With Love

Hi everyone, I went past Czech Republic a few days ago and met some locals that gave ma a good address, it's a brewing university and research facility, they do as well have products ready for shipping. So I guess this must be most welcome here... http://www.beerresearch.cz If any of you...

    Cwb+

Hi there, I'm trying that cooper's wheat beer can again, this time with the exact recommended enhancer, nearly at the end of fermentation and it tastes amaising. But shall I add a few galaxy hops, as I still have some left over, to make the taste more flattering? Or shall I keep it original...

    Sanitizing Questions

I was not using bleach on the ones that got infected, only quenching with boiling water, I learned afterward that it takes time for the sterilisation process to be effective. Hard to tell how much bleach I'm using now but I think it's plenty enough.. Thanks for that link, I like it. .z

    Sanitizing Questions

Haha sure, I'll think about it! I meant household UV filtered water. As howtobrew.com says that the rinsing water has to be boiled or I read that somewhere, which make sense if like me you have only tank water. I'm completely paranoid with contamination these days and I surely sound funny but...

No. Here only tank water, this means bacteries from bird shit.

    Sanitizing Questions

I will. I'm as we speak experimenting my own technique that will serve me for years hopefully without bothering anybody! Just about the drying, I have read that there are large quantities of bacteries in the air, so I guess the longer the bottle is exposed to air, supposing the foreign...

    Too Much Yeast Deposit Problem

Thanks. But I like to keep things simple, this way I save time. Gelatine? What does that do?

    Too Much Yeast Deposit Problem

Cooling, heating, this requires electricity, and a lot of it. How about your carbon footprint, do you think of that sometimes? Are we still brewing like in the 90's here or what? I'll look into bulk priming as I have been thinking about it for a while now, thanks for reminding me of that!

    Too Much Yeast Deposit Problem

Hi there, It seems that I've been having a lot of yeast in the bottom of the bottles on my new batches. Me think that it should be due to summery temperatures causing the yeast to reproduce a lot. Shall I use 3.5g per 23L instead of 7g? Thanks in advance. .z

    Sanitizing Questions

howtobrew.com says that you don't need to rinse... And you say I have to, this is confusing me... Anyway my question was about drying or not. My uncle who is a biologist (and a brewer at his time) said that bleach will not killing yeast particles, now its about how much chlorine you can drink...

    Sanitizing Questions

Hi there, Last winter is has been really easy to get my brews to term and the sanitizing aspect was not really an issue, now the summer is on its way and I keep getting infections in my batches. Just a quick dip in boiling water is not good enough anymore and I am now soaking all my bottles and...
