Thanks for the feedback - I fermented this at 17.5 degrees. Given my setup, I have a half degree cut-in on my controller so it sat between 17.5 and 18 degrees during ferementation. Have fun! I have brewed the same recipe three times fermenting at different temps (17.5, 18 and 20) and all come...

I've built one (I use an Aubrins PID) and I have to say it has made the BIAB concept even easier for me. Things that I have learnt along the way - some I haven't bothered to fix yet:
1) Choose the right element - I got 2x2200W SS elements that are straight rods - awesome heating capability but...
Your wife (partner) has learnt enough by osmosis that she can help out newbies at the LHBS when you and the owner are busy dealing with your order.
You forget your Mum's birthday, but you can remember the progress of each brew day and the resulting beer for the last 2 years (or more).
