We didn't actually close down, rather sold that store due to competing family interests. Yep Sth Melb and Brighton stores still run 250 - 300 beers each. We have a new beer project in the pipeline and will disclose more in due course. cheers

Definitely Red Hill but also Murrays and I'd put 3 Ravens in the mix, albeit at a lower notch. There are a few average beers in the Red oak line-up (IMHO) but a long way from compete duds.

I'd put Dark Isle from Tassie in the same boat. Consistently churns out rubbish with the same infections year after year...........do they actually try their own beers?

I don't think you are off the mark here...both beers well below par in my view. Comes across as a cheap contract job without much thought or love put in at all. cheers
