i kegged a brewcraft cerevza about 2 weeks ago carbed it.... ETC used dry enzyme with s-23. and lager enhancer one of the worst beers i have ever brewed..... may be the dry enzyme but im not to sure would be a hell of alot better without the dry enzyme. the FG droped far to low giving it that...

why they are prefectly good air lock ?? just diff set up ??

on tap at the mo is a coopers bitter. coopers bitter BE#2 300gm DEX kit yeast (16-20DEG fermented) racked to keg dry hoped 12 gm chinook for somthing different and im enjoying it very much. cheap and drinkable. cheers.

couldn you just add ??gm dex to up the SG if you wanted a stronger beer? i live in newy might have to give that one a crack!

Hey interloper i have a tin of coopers canadian blonde ready to be brewed just out of curiousity would a morgans pale malt ( liquid 1.5Kg ) go ok with this beer may be some extra hops thrown in too ?? cheers.

just put down my clone of the LCPA then. 1 CPA 1 LME extra pale 1 tea bag cluster 1 tea bag cascade ( 12 gm chinook at rack ) 200 gm dex. us-56 OG :1.060 FG: just wondering because i dont really like to rack to secondary can i just rack it into keg and dry hop in my keg with chinook ...

gonna give the LCPA a dig bought 2 X 1.5 kg extra pale malt 15 cascade 15 cluster 12 chinook trying it without the stockmans draught and just the 2 X extra pale malt extract any ideas on OG ??

that could be the problem.... im fermenting a coopers bitter atm and using its kit yeast got it held at 17deg and its shooting away so i dont no how one DEG would really affect a yeast that much. i like to boost the temp up to 20 - 22 deg for a day at the end of fermentation just to get that...

thats really high i would think otherwise if you had a more higher alcho brew but simple BE#2 should come down to adleast 1010. i did a CSPA not long ago with over average fermantables to create more %alc and that sat abit high on the gravity scale but i new it would happen. more importantly...
