    Thanks Raz, Already do chill and gelatin(just a little bit with the polyclar) in the fermenter. Then either filter into the keg, OR add isinglass to the keg depending on the paleness of the beer. I have come up with this method based on experience and the love of bright beer(tastes better than...

    Australian Stirplates - Need Testers

    Has anyone tried larger stir bars yet? I brew 55L at once and want enough yeast out of my 5L flask. With the supplied stir bar I can only get a very small vortex going, not sure if I should find some bigger bars or if they would even work.

    Us05 = Funny Tummy ?

    Hey Dr K, One of the three people I mention who has found this issue is your friend Dickus - hairy..... He has a therory that it was only one particular batch of Us-05 available mid 2010 that caused the squirts. Did not know uso5 had a few different sources....

    Us05 = Funny Tummy ?

    No correlation with food - beer drank with and without eating, noon, afternoon and evening. all same reaction to each batch with us05. Symptoms seemed to be partially solved by adding isinglass to routine and completely resolved by using other yeast. I have got over this issue months ago by...
