Putting Beer On Tap At The Bar

Id buy another small chest freezer and put some glycol mix with a copper coil and a pump. Then you could get some glycol lines and run it from where ever you have the space.. Not to mention a frozen font. Have a look at the andale or lancer sites for your beer lines. I get a lot of my stuff from...

    Flooded Font; Anyone Made One?

The flooded font i have floods the entire unit. Its sealed at the base with a copper tube coming out of it extending almost to the top of the font so the cold liquid is pumped to the top of the font and the recirculated out the bottom. Someone may have a photo of a font taken apart which would...

Lagers - Importance Of Fermentation Temperature

you could always do an australian draught beer which is pretty much lager ingredients with ale yeast. While you wont get that clean crisp taste, you could get something on par with vb or carlton draught. Im still new to brewing myself and have realised very quickly that trying to get european...

Sanke (cub-like) Kegs And Keg Tools

get your hands on a coupler they do the job for removing the spear, its really just a small twist. The clip is another problem. Im using sankes atm and have found its not worth the effort. And after opening them i found you dont really need to open them. You can fill them with a coupler...

    Classy Party Setup

one of those sunbeam beermate things look alright. im sure you could drill a few holes in it to take a sodastream bottle to get it off the o2. They are pretty expensive but seem to be just the thing to pull out in front of the family.

    Grolsch Swing Top Bottles

if you cant handle the taste of grolsch. Theres another option, Schwelmer does a pils i believe. Good drop regardless and around the same price as the grolsch. And another bonus is it comes in a swing top bottle. They have it in my local Dan Murphys so id imagine it would be in one in melbourne...

    Official Ahb Brewer's Logbook

i think the ideas great and would be up for a couple. It would be really good if it could be bound with a hardcover with that fake leather cover like a bible and maybe some of that heavy paper they have in cooking books. Im sure it would increase the cost, however this book would get lots of use...

    How Long For Secondary?

May turn out to be a stupid question, but i was wondering how long i could leave a batch in a secondary plastic fermentor? The most time would be upto 2 months. Would this have any negative affects on the batch? Should i transfer it again after a few weeks? any info on this would be appreciated.

    50ltr Beer Chiller Box

your best bet is to make one. All you need is an esky, tap, line, stainless coil or plate and gas bottle. From what i understand the coils are better when you are serving a higher volume of beer as they hold more and you dont need to keep the keg cold as with the plate(not tested). Ive used ones...

    Kooks Ag Setup

might want to consider some white ceramic tiles. No idea where you could get them from but they would easily do the job of a heat barrier.

    Kegging Setups

thought i should add a post of my new toy. the low profile couplers are great, a little hard to use at times but very convenient. i can fit a 50L keg in here just having troubles getting it cold enough :( This also happens to be my first attempt at an extract brew, will be happy if...
