Second this! I haven`t had the opportunity to test the beer but several testers have told that it is a really good beer, despite of the poor promising name...
Hey folks,
how about Serious Severe Skullsplitter?
Hmmm, not a real good idea I think because who would like to drink such kinda stuff???

Hi,
I am intending to brew a socalled Adventinus Bock. It is a Belgian Trappist beer style, spiced with a byte of coriander seed.
Traditionally to be opened at the first Advent day.
Grain bill:
Vienna malt: 72%
Wheat malt: 22%
Cara dark: 6%
Carafa special II: 30 g for a 4.5 kg total...
Hey,
one sachet of 11,5g dried yeast plus approx. 120 ml boiled water put on a magnetic lab stirrer. Rehydrating time: 1 hour. Works perfect!

Hi,
mmhh, Oktoberfest without a typical Ofest beer??? This is really strange. And hey, believe me, Krombacher ist NOT a typical beer and for sure NOT a "genuine premium pilsener...". Sorry to say that but this is the truth!

Hi,
anybody here who has used the Safale T-58? It seems to be a very interesting yeast for a Belgian Abbay type beer.
And how about the S-33, any comments on that one?

Hey, Julian,
congrats, looks really great! Very nice equipment! By the way, I have the same pH meter than you have.
What kinda beer was it on the pics?

Hello, braufrau,
wow, thats unbelievable!!! It`s far off my imagination not to get a famous beer in a beer region...
Anyways, perhaps it is easier to get this beer in Australia... ;)
Cheers

Hello, braufrau,
if you`re in Munich you should find this beer in nearly every beverages store. This Weissbier is not rare in that area.
Good luck! And cheers!

Hi,
nice selection, really! My favorite would be the Paulaner but the dark version because this is much more tasty (rounded) and a bit more malty. It has not that slightly bitter aftertast than the pale version exhibits.
Ever tried the Weihenstephaner dark? This is a malt explosion...
Hi,
I have used this strain fermented at 16C and this turned out quite fruity even at such low Ale temps. To my opinion it is absolutely not comparable with lager yeasts (which I have used quite often). Additionally the Cali Lager produces high loads of Diacetyl but this disappears within 3...
Hi-Ho,
I absolutely second that experience! I have had best hop results by using the 2042 strain from Wyeast. Not any fruity touch, crisp, malty (but not too much) finish with accentuation on the hops. Great, it`s worth trying, Guys.
Cheers
