Ive got 2, one from 2 brothers brewry that's gotta big grolsh like swing top and just the normal 2lt one with screw cap.
I also purchased a growler filler for my keg fridge. Its just a hose I connect to the tap so the growler fills from the bottom up.
don't stress I did my first biab with my new pot and set up last week. Being new I didn't know how quick things would heat up or how to control temp correctly. I went over a few deg for strike temp, then mash out temp over a bit more. held the temp during mash but it was still in high 70's.

Now I don't always want to do such big batches as I will run out of room!!!
I want to be able to scale some recipes down to say 10-15lt batches.

If you want to go to a really cool craft beer pub go to A REAL GASTROPUB. if you are going to waikkii its only a $15 cab ride there. worth it IMO
the yard house is like a big commercial chain for beer. its a big sports bar, good beers but doesnt have that nice little pub feel
sweet as. i might try without the ball lock for now. ill pull the grain bag with grain out and sparge in another pot i have then transfer back to big pot.
i have been before. If you are going to waikiki u must go to the yard house! I was there last time 3 times and im going again. its a great place with over 100 craft beers. I was off my face after 2 full size yard glasses lol

yeah i did a 23lt recipe in a 19lt pot. turned out to be the same about 9.7%
I boiled another 6lt of water put that in my keg, chilled it, hit it was C02 then added my 10lt of wort.
Its in the fridge chilling now and i just gott get the hang of force carbing.
Ive been drinking Hargraves Hill ESB and Red Hill Hop Harvest ESB of late and love them.
im only 1 BIAB down and still learning.
Anyone got a good ESB recipe? Im doing 23LT batches.
