Nice one Crusty. I built an exact copy of the electric brewery a few years ago now, still going strong and i have never had an issue with it. There are a few posts i put up here somewhere on the build. Any questions with your build feel free to ask mate and i may be able to help out.
Welcome mate. There are a few boys from Bunbury over on this forum as well. Might be a bit closer to home for you

I did the tour of the Fullers Brewery 2 years ago whilst holidaying in London. Being a home Brewer I was full of questions and the tour guide was more than helpful with the answers.
So their ESB is Marris otter and crystal, and the hops are target, challenger and northdown" and I think from...
That's right mate, the PID and temp probe on the mash tun is purely for monitoring, it's the HLT PID that is tuned and does all the element firing and maintains temp. It really does work incredibly well. I am really happy with it.
It was a long time building but well worth it.
Cheers mate
Hey thefrothologist, cheers mate.

Congrats on the build mate! You will have fun using it.

They knew what the penalty was. I couldn't care less for them. Hope they get it over with soon as I am sick of hearing people whinge about it in the media.
SN Torpedo. Great beer and you know exactly what your getting, never fails. Just for info I bought a carton of SN Pale Ale just before Xmas. It was cheaper than a carton of Little Creatures Pale Ale! Is this our marvellous grog tax system at work or what? The ******* brewery is only 30 Kay's...
I used Greenlee punches on my blichmann kettles, couldn't have been easier or cleaner! I am a big advocate of spending that bit extra to get quality, especially when it comes to tools.
Yeah I bought the greenlee punches, same as on the electric brewery site. I was in the US at the time so was no postage. They were expensive but I don't mind paying for good quality and I couldn't seem to find them in Aus. I only have the one left now mate as I sold the others, the one to punch...
