Hi all, thanks for all the helpful replys. Yes Komodo im in Woronora (nice memory!), I've been brewing for about 3 years on and off but mostly from kits, have tried a FWKs and wasnt impressed.
I did see the brew day on the 6th but wasnt quite sure how the list works and dont really understand...
Hi Everyone,
I'd really like to get into AG brewing but i dont know where to start - ive read a heap about it but i'd love to see how its done in real life and get an idea on how much better AG can be form brewing out of a can.
Any chance i can tag along the next time somebody is doing a brew?

Thanks for that guys - im going to try the fwk and see how it goes. I havent seen country brewer but i havent been looking either - im near sutherland in sydney so i'll see if my local has something like that.
Thanks again and good drinking!

I've read all the posts about how much better AG brewing is but cant afford to jump in just yet. I really want to try an AG but dont know anybody who brews them - is it worth getting an fresh wort to try the difference between kits an AG? or are they compleatley different again.

Ok thanks - so instead of using 2 carbonation drop per 750mls i'll just use 1. Its for a stout so it wont matter if it is a bit flat.
Thanks everybody!

How do you measure different amounts of sugar when bottling? The recipe im using calls for 4g in each bottle - i usually use carbonation drops - how many grams in each one?
Thanks in advance

Thanks for the instructions PB, I'm heading to the kitchen as we speak! I've also bmade the straight muntons stout before but i thought id try this and see how it goes. I'll let you know how it turns out.
Thanks again and have a good night!

The shop is Kirrawee home brew.
I dont know exactly whats in the kit converter.
The recipe calls for:
1 can Muntons export stout
Brewcraft #74 irish kit converter
brewcraft #25 stout booster
1 pkt muntons gold yeast
